Fabulous Flashback Car Show and Poker Run - 2008

Registration is now open for our 2008 forthcoming Fabulous Flashback Car Show and Poker Run scheduled for September 13th and 14th, 2008 along downtown Ukiah's nostalgic School St.

Space is reserved for only 300 pre-registered vehicles that must be pre-1973. A few spaces are being held for Early Iron Club members who are interested in displaying their cars but they are ineligible to receive awards and trophies.

Download your 2008 Registration Form (Click here for registration form) and mail it as soon as you decide if you are attending this year's event. No day-of-event entries will be accepted. A confirmation will be sent within three weeks of receiving your entry. No entries or Changes will be accepted after August 31st 2008. A complete Activities Schedule is included with the registration form.

We encourage you to arrive Friday afternoon and take advantage of the Parking Lot Dance which is part of the "Fabulous Friday Bash". Once again we are having the Friday night event at Applebee's in the Redwood Business Park located on Airport Park Blvd. There will be live entertainment and trohies sponsored by local merchants. Make sure to get your Raffle Tickets from any Early Iron Member, for chances at some great and fabulous prizes.

On Saturday morning, there is a pancake breakfast from 7-11 am at School and Smith Streets. Cars will be lining up by classes along School Street starting at 7:00 am. All participants will be given dash plaques and a special gift. Through out the day specialty awards will be presented. The Show & Shine Car Show will end at 3:00 pm and is followed by our awards ceremony with more than seventy trophies to be awarded.

The Saturday evening Barbeque Dinner at the Todd Grove City Park is again presented by the
Ukiah Rotary Club.
You must purchase all of your Tri-Tip or Chicken BBQ tickets when you register.

On Sunday, participants will assemble at Applebee's in the Redwood Business Park starting at 8:00 am. Free donuts, coffee and juice will be available. At 9 am, the 7th Annual Andy Vagt Memorial Poker Run will commence with a new and interesting tour of our local valleys. Everyone ends up at the Barra Winery formerly Redwood Valley Cellars for awards and raffle prizes plus a no-host luncheon. By noon, participants are packing up and heading to their various hometowns.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event although only registered participants are allowed to park in the car show area. No Day-of-Event entries accepted and no trailers allowed in show area and there are no motorcycle entries. If you missed out this year getting registered, plan ahead and mark your calendar. The 2009 registration form will be available on this site April 15, 2009.
